Ingredients:
1 cup chicken cubes
3 tablespoons oil
½ cup roasted almonds
1 cup celery chopped
1 cup chopped broccoli
½ cup sliced chestnuts
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/2 tablespoons soya sauce
1 large onion chopped
Salt to taste
Pepper
½ cup hot water
Preparation
Blanche the ½ cup roasted almonds remove its skin and roast in the oven for 10-15 min at 375 degrees.
In a wok heat oil till it smokes
Add onion to oil and chicken cubes and cook for 4 minutes.
Stir onions and chicken intermittently
Add broccoli, celery, chestnuts, soya sauce, salt and pepper.
Cover the wok and allow it to cook, for about 4-6 min
Stir it occasionally. Add cornstarch in the hot water and mix it well.
Add this cornstarch mixture into the wok and cook till it thickens
Finally add almonds and serve hot.
