Egg Foo Yung


Another fine recipe which everyone will cherish over the dinner table. And this is the one you will enjoy cooking with your wok. For prepration of Egg Foo Yung you will need the following ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

8 beaten eggs
1 cup of sliced celery
1 cup of chopped onion
1 cup full of bean sprouts
1/2 cup of diced mushrooms
1/3 cup of cooked chicken breast
1/3 cup of cooked and crumbled ground beef
1/3 cup chopped cooked pork
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

FOO YUNG SAUCE

2 cubes chicken bouillon
1 1/2 cups hot water
1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
6 tablespoons cold water
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch

Preparation

To start with this recipe, take the eggs and beat them in a large bowl. To this mixture add the celery, onion, bean sprouts, mushrooms, chicken, beef, pork, salt and pepper. Mix all these ingredients well together. Now heat oil in a wok and also brown the egg mixture 1/2 cup at a time. Cook until this mixture is reddish brown and after that is done keep it aside. Moving to the sauce, you need to mix the bouillon in the hot water preferably in a small saucepan. Then add sugar and soy sauce and mix well over medium heat. You can add cold water and cornstarch and stir until thick and smooth. Serve with Egg Foo Yung.
